The rich history of Tombstone High School (THS) began in 1922, when the first part of the high school was constructed, and history continues to be made by the 350 students currently attending. Small student-to-teacher ratios, challenging academic and vocational curriculums, an outstanding athletic department are some of the advantages of attending THS. 

It is our philosophy that the educational process should stimulate curiosity and allow for the individual to experiment and grow both academically and socially. This growth will take place in an environment of trust, respect and tolerance for others. Each student will be provided the opportunity to develop a personal character to include a positive self-image, emotional maturity, physical well-being and social responsibility. Students will be provided the opportunity to acquire the basic skills and attitudes necessary for successful participation in our democratic society. Basic skills are identified as self and cooperative management skills and the academic areas of reading, mathematics, language arts, science and social studies.
